Kilcreggan House History
Kilcreggan House was built in 1888 by the owner of the Donaldson Shipping Line for his son. Since then, some famous visitors and owners have passed through the house ; Carey, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Austin Sparks, and Watchman Nee among them.
WEC (World Evangelisation for Christ), Britain's largest missionary organisation, occupied the house from 1960 until we came along.
In 1999, The Way Christian Ministries (us) purchased Kilcreggan House. The primary use of the house was as a Christian Training Centre although over the course of the next ten years we became progressively busier hosting conferences for church groups from Scotland, the UK and around the world.
